Almost by accident, I stumbled across a solution that has worked miracles for me. When I started to write down everything I did in a day, almost immediately my wasted time dropped from hours — even entire days and more — to practically nothing.
My productivity skyrocketed when I introduced this small degree of self-accountability.
At its simplest, all you need to do is write down what you do. You can be as granular or as broad as you like.
